Current releases

These are the latest public releases of our ircd and some services. We do not provide official support for these projects, however you may be able to gain assistance in #dev (webchat) or on our forums.

NOTE: The service code is an older version then used on QuakeNet and as such may not include some features available on QuakeNet.

Users of snircd 1.3.4 and below should update to 1.3.4a immediately due to a remote crash vulnerability.

qwebirc has it's own webpage with issue tracking, a wiki and other instructions.

ircd development

The source code for our ircd (and other open source projects) is stored in our Mercurial repositories:

To check out a copy for local development type: hg clone <url>.
If a patch queue is present and you'd like to work on it use the following instead: hg qclone -p <queue url> <url>.

We accept third party patches willingly! You can email them to us at , post them on our forum, or talk to us in #dev (webchat).
