As many users might have noticed there are now a lot of html links distributed over irc that secretly installs a mIRC trojan on peoples computers. If you think you might have been infected or want to know how to secure yourself please read this.

Cant connect to irc cuz it tells me i have a trojan. Scanning with my newly updated norton doesnt help. And the link here is broken...come on :\\

Erhm, i think u have a trojan, otherwise i DONT think u would be g-lined guys... sorry to say. most of these mIRC worms are indetecteble for virus programs because it is exactly the same as a normal script :) (fx the one which send a link)

I have this pb, some time irc works an some time it doesn\'t works because of this \"trojan\" if it is... With an other irc, quakenet doesn\'t work but you can connect on other server of irc... Maybe the pb is from Quakenet?

I think the problem is: Someone who had you IP BEFORE you has a trojan and got banned. now that you have that ip you are affected by that ban. just reconnect to the internet to get a new ip and the problem should be solved.
