irc.de servers relocation

Due to the relocation of nearly the whole german irc cluster there will be a offline period between 10am and 2pm CEST at the 23.05.2002. We recommend that you connect to irc.quakenet.org if you want to go online during this time. After 2pm all german servers should be back to normal operation and you can reconnect to irc.de.quakenet.org.

(2nd part) With an average rtt of about 25ms you should have no problems with connecting to irc.de caused by high latencys. Maybe your DNS cache still served the old server IPs from before the move?
