Different Client versions on QuakeNet, November 2002

Since we are curious souls, the QuakeNet staff made a network wide CTCP version request at non-peak hour in the beginning of November 2002 that hit all connected clients at that time (don't try this at home, folks :p)

We sorted the results and present them below, for your viewing pleasure.

I\'m one of those 16\'344 ppl using mIRC 6.03. ^^ I used to use Trillian, but there were a trojan or something with it, so i stopped.

hm, only 0,93% xchat clients? That\'s strange. I simply LOVE the perl programming interface of xchat - my automatic away system (for xqf) works even on another system (my IRC client runs on the firewall, my xqf on my game pc, so I can use the monitor switch to chat a little bit until the next round starts when I\'m playing AQ2 teamplay and got killed ;-)
