The update has finally gone through, after some initial problems. Most QuakeNet servers are now updated, or being updated right now. The server page will keep track of server update status, please connect to a server which is marked as updated
Please also note a minor change to Q authentication, reflecting on changes made along with the update. The new format for Q authentication leaves out the .eu part in the hostname, as seen in the following example:
_ /msg Q@CServe.quakenet.org auth username password _
Replace username with your Q authentication name, and password with your Q password, as before. Except for this change, all other Q functions are unaffected.
