QuakeNet hit another milestone today. We recently introduced a new bot called 'S' that enforces, to varying degrees of severity, QuakeNet's flooding and spamming rules. It is given to channels with more than 100 users on the request of the channel owner, and if we think the traffic in the channel warrants such enforcement.
It has been fairly successful, and fairly popular among admins of large channels that were constantly being bombarded with spamming and flooding, as it actively disconnects a user from QuakeNet (a /kill), effectively removing the problem. And today S issued the 50,000th spamkill...
